27 Internal Communications Events Worth Your Time in 2026

Are you making space this year to invest in your own professional development?

Most roundups of IC conferences stop at North America and the UK. If you are based in Singapore, Australia, Dubai or anywhere across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, those lists do not serve you well. This one tries to do better.

I have compiled a grid of 27 conferences, summits and festivals across 2026, all focused on internal communications, PR, corporate communications or digital workplace strategy. HR events that touch on communications peripherally have been left out deliberately. Every event here has communications or IC as a core rather than a side agenda.

A note before you dive in: six events from the first quarter of the year have already passed, including the ALI Strategic Internal Communications Conference West in January, Ragan AI Horizons in February, and the PRCA APAC Conference and ALI Employee Experience Conference in early March. These are retained in the grid for archival reference and flagged clearly with a âš« marker so you can see at a glance what is still ahead.

North America

The North American calendar remains the densest for standalone IC events. Transform 2026 runs in Las Vegas from 23-25 March. The Culturati Summit on courageous leadership is in Austin at the end of March. Marcus Evans Internal and Employee Communications Excellence is in Chicago in April. Ragan’s Employee Communications and Culture Conference runs in Boston from 21-23 April. VOICES by Staffbase is in Berlin and virtual from 29-30 April. ALI Strategic Internal Communications East is in Boston in July. Ragan’s flagship IC Conference takes place at Microsoft HQ in Seattle in October. Ragan CommsWeek closes the year in Austin in November.

UK and Europe

The IoIC Festival, the most respected IC-specific professional event in the UK, runs in Hampshire on 6-7 May. The Engage Employee Summit is in London on 20-21 May. The CIPD Festival of Work follows on 10-11 June in London. The IC Conference London runs on 25 June. The IABC World Conference, themed around the communicator’s evolving role, is in Toronto on 14-16 June and draws a genuinely global audience.

Australia and ANZ

Three events worth noting here. Mumbrella CommsCon on 25 March in Sydney is Australia’s biggest dedicated PR and communications conference, now in its twelfth year. It tends to be where Edelman Trust Barometer Australian data lands and where the communications leadership conversation is most concentrated in this market. The Corporate Affairs Summit runs 12-13 May in Sydney, focused on building stakeholder trust and elevating communications as a strategic function. DEX 2026, run by Step Two on 21-22 October in Sydney, is the only event in the Southern Hemisphere dedicated specifically to intranets, digital workplaces and IC strategy. If that intersection is relevant to your work it is genuinely worth the trip.

Asia Pacific — Singapore

The PRCA APAC Conference ran on 4 March with the theme “The Year of Being Human,” which proved well-timed given the research landscape around AI and authentic communication. It is retained in the grid for reference. CommunicAsia, Asia’s largest enterprise communications and ICT event, runs at Singapore EXPO from 20-22 May. PR Asia Singapore, now in its thirteenth year and curated by Marketing Interactive, is on 4 August and focuses on trust, narrative and communications leadership across APAC. The B2B Marketing Leaders Forum ASIA runs at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering on 14-15 October and is particularly relevant for IC practitioners working on thought leadership and executive communications strategy.

Middle East and Dubai

The IABC MENA Regional Conference covers the specific challenges of IC in GCC and broader MENA contexts, including multilingual communication, government-linked organisations and the cultural dynamics of the region. Date to be confirmed for 2026. The Dubai Leadership Conference runs 26-28 May and is relevant for IC practitioners working on executive communication programmes or building their own strategic advisory capability.

A note on the APAC and Middle East IC landscape

Dedicated internal communications conferences as a standalone event category are considerably more established in North America and the UK than across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. In those regions, the IC agenda tends to live inside broader HR, EX or people leadership events. What you will find in the APAC and Middle East section of this grid are PR, corporate communications, digital workplace and comms leadership events where IC practitioners are genuinely present and where the content is relevant to the IC brief.

You can download the full grid here, with dates, locations, session themes, audience type, format and registration links for all 27 events. Events that have already passed are marked âš« and retained for archival reference.

If there are events in your region I have missed, I would like to hear about them.

Which of these are you planning to attend or follow this year, and what are you hoping to take away?
