Introducing GCC Voices’ Shapers List. What Makes a Global Capability Center Leader Worth Following?

Global Capability Centers (Business Services/Technology Centers/Innovation Centers/In-House Centers/AI Centers) have evolved. Leadership visibility has not always kept pace.

At GCC Voices, we’re launching GCC Shapers, a curated spotlight on GCC and GBS Site Heads and Center Leaders who intentionally use their voice to shape:

  • Their center’s identity
  • Their organization’s culture
  • Their country’s GCC narrative

This is not an awards list. It’s not about titles, followers, or press mentions.

It’s about intentional leadership presence.

The GCC Shapers Lens

We assess leaders across five signals:

1️⃣ Intent

Why does this leader show up publicly? Do their messages consistently reinforce the purpose of the center, not just announcements?

2️⃣ Positioning

Is there clarity in how they position:

  • Their GCC
  • Their talent
  • Their role in the global enterprise?

3️⃣ Presence

Is their LinkedIn presence:

  • Updated
  • Thoughtful
  • Deliberate (banner, headline, featured content)?

4️⃣ Proof

Do they share:

  • Original insights
  • Build stories
  • Transformation journeys
  • Culture and capability narratives?

5️⃣ Advocacy

Do they actively promote:

  • The GCC ecosystem
  • Their teams
  • Their geography as a serious capability hub?

Visibility without advocacy doesn’t qualify.

What GCC Shapers Is Not

  • ❌ Not vendors or service providers
  • ❌ Not agencies or advisors
  • ❌ Not inactive profiles
  • ❌ Not repost-only accounts
  • ❌ Not title-first, presence-later leaders

This is about how leaders show up, consistently.

Who Can Be Nominated?

We’re inviting nominations for:

  • GCC / GBS Site Heads
  • Center Leaders
  • Country or Hub Heads
  • In-house Global Capability leaders
